Princess Eugenie’s ‘favourite drink’: How to make vodka soda with lime

Princess Eugenie, 33, recently welcomed her second child, Ernest Brooksbank, in May 2023.

The Princess is married to Jack Brooksbank, 37, who was formerly the manager of Mahiki, a nightclub in Mayfair that was often visited by Princes William and Harry in their youth.

Jack later worked as a brand ambassador for Casamigos tequila. This explained why tequila cocktails were served at Jack and Eugenie’s royal wedding in 2018, instead of the more traditional sparkling wine.

The 37-year-old was also reported to have his own wine wholesale business.

Despite now working in marketing, sales and promotion for Michael Meldman’s Discovery Land Company in Portugal, it is likely that Jack’s alcohol expertise had an effect on Princess Eugenie.

The Princess of York previously opened up about her favourite cocktail and it is a very classy option.

Although tequila drinks were provided for her friends and family during her wedding, Eugenie’s preferred beverage is more understated.

The royal told Harper’s Bazaar: “My favourite drink is vodka soda with loads of lime. Can’t beat that.”

The popular mixer company Fever-Tree has a recommended recipe for the perfect vodka soda cocktail with lime.
