News from the Munich restaurant Mun and from chef Rainer Becker – Munich

A basement bar without daylight has a hard time in the summer. You have to offer something to survive. Restaurant Mun on Innere Wiener Straße has managed to do this pretty well over the past seven years with Korean-Asian fusion cuisine. But now it is hoping to make another leap forward with its new beer garden outside the entrance door. It stands out from the usual Euro pallet monotony and is more reminiscent of a temple of Asian food culture. You even eat on white tablecloths. And from next Tuesday there will also be a new summer menu, with a “best of” from the kitchen of master Moon Kim: with sushi, fish and meat dishes. Also new and a special feature is the Korean BBQ with twelve different side dishes based on the tapas principle and rice to a main course – ribeye steak, chicken, black cod or portobello mushroom – at prices between 45 and 55 euros per person.
