LinkedIn stellt Lookalike Audiences ein und drängt auf die Umstellung auf neues Targeting
LinkedIn hat angekündigt, die Funktion „Lookalike Audiences“ ab dem 29. Februar 2024 einzustellen.
Laut einer Aussage von LinkedIn werden Werbetreibende nach Februar 2024 keine neuen Lookalike Audiences mehr erstellen oder bestehende bearbeiten können. Alle aktuellen Lookalike Audiences werden „statisch“ und werden nicht mehr mit neuen Daten aktualisiert.
LinkedIn gab an, dass aktive Werbekampagnen mit Lookalike Audiences weiterhin laufen, aber an den nun statischen Zielgruppenpool geliefert werden. Nach 30 Tagen Inaktivität werden ungenutzte Lookalike Audiences automatisch von LinkedIn archiviert.

A federal judge Thursday temporarily blocked a new Illinois law that targeted crisis pregnancy centers, saying it violated free speech.
