Which sectors are blocked in your regions this Friday?

They are not giving up and are impatiently awaiting the Prime Minister’s announcements. Launched from Occitanie last week, the angry movement of farmers has since spread to most French departments. The actions, which aim to protest against an increase in taxes and standards restricting the agricultural profession, most often result in road blockages using straw bales or tractors. This causes, in fact, very serious traffic disruptions. Update on the situation this Friday, January 26.

In Pays-de-la-Loire

After a spectacular show of force in Nantes on Thursday, the situation seems calmer this Friday in Loire-Atlantique. Ever more motivated, the Vendée farmers have, on the other hand, resumed their various blockages and “free toll” operations, with control of truck goods, on the A83 in Les Essarts, in Les Herbiers, but also around La Roche sur Yon. In Sarthe, traffic has been disrupted since Friday morning on five motorway axes, according to Ouest France. The farmers had notably planned to converge on Le Mans, where several hundred tractors will take a tour of the ring road. In Maine-et-Loire, the prefecture has warned of a blockage of the A87 toll gate in Chemillé-en-Anjou. In this department, two actions are already planned from 6 a.m. Monday.

In Brittany

The day after the demonstration in Rennes, the difficulties were concentrated above all in the west of the region. Initiated several days ago, the blockages continue on the RN165 near Quimper but also at the Iroise bridge, near Brest. Diversions have been put in place. According to Le Télégramme, several actions were carried out this morning in Morbihan, particularly around the Lorient oil depot. The same N165 is paralyzed near Auray.

In Côtes-d’Armor, traffic remains disrupted on the RN12, where several blockades have been erected by demonstrators, particularly near Guingamp. Actions with supermarkets were carried out this morning in this sector. In Ille-et-Vilaine, the A84 remains blocked in both directions at the border with the English Channel. The Confédération paysanne also plans to occupy the roundabout on the Ker Lann campus, in Bruz, near Rennes.

In Hauts-de-France

Traffic is still very complicated this Friday on certain highways in Hauts-de-France, particularly on the A1 due to several blocking points by farmers. The latter closed the road using straw bales at the Fresnes-lès-Montauban toll, the first in the Lille-Paris direction. In the departments of Nord and Pas-de-Calais, the A1 motorway was cut near Dourges, in the Paris-Lille direction, and at the Ronchin curve, in the Lille-Paris direction. In Oise, another blockage is planned at the Chamant-Senlis toll station, in both directions, from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The A16 motorway is closed between interchanges 11 and 16. The authorities specify that the secondary network in the Isle-Adam/Persan sector will also be impacted. The A25 motorway is still closed in both directions, from the junction with the A16 to Méteren. The A2 motorway is also still closed in both directions, from the junction with the A23 to exit 24 (Onnaing interchange).

In addition to the motorways, the prefecture notes other blockages, in particular on the D649, closed between Marly and Curgies in both directions of traffic, and in the Maubeuge sector, where the Feignies and Safda roundabouts are blocked.

In New Aquitaine

In the region, mobilization is spreading. Blockages continue in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques this Friday on the A64, the A65 and the A63 with a blockage of the Hubert-Touya bridge in Bayonne, between France and Spain. At midday, we learned that sixteen tractors had positioned themselves under the La Négresse viaduct in Biarritz, blocking the Louis Mariano roundabout and the roads serving it. In Lot-et-Garonne, the A62 is cut in several places and road blockades are also organized by demonstrators (D217 in particular). At midday, the presence of demonstrators near the railway tracks between Marmande and Agen caused the interruption of train and bus traffic on this axis, in both directions. The resumption of traffic was estimated around 4 p.m. by the SNCF. In Vienne, the A10 is still blocked, and disruptions are underway on the N10 and N147. Traffic on the A89 in Dordogne is also still disrupted (exits 12,13, 14 and 17) and a demonstration is announced in Périgueux, from 2 p.m. Filter dams are also underway in the Landes, on the RD824 and the RD810.

In Occitania

While Gabriel Attal is expected in Montastruc-de-Salies, in Haute-Garonne, at 4:30 p.m., blockages are still in progress around Toulouse, particularly on the A64, between Carbonne and Lafitte-Vigordane. The A61 motorway, between Toulouse and Carcassonne is also blocked from Villefranche-de-Lauragais, towards Toulouse. The A20 roads towards Montauban, N124 between Toulouse and Auch, and N88 between Toulouse and Rodez are also partially blocked or disrupted by snail operations. Farmers also blocked access to Pas de la Casa, Andorra. Traffic on the A9 motorway, known as La Languedocienne and La Catalane, is also largely disrupted with hundreds of kilometers of traffic jams.

Elsewhere in the region, the A7 remains cut between Chanas and Avignon in both directions, as does the A9 between Leucate and Orange towards Lyon, and in the Nîmes and Gallargues sector in both directions. In Auvergne Rhône Alpes

Traffic on the A47, which had been unblocked on Thursday afternoon, could be disrupted again this Friday since farmers have planned to demonstrate there in the Lyon-Saint-Etienne direction, between Rive-de-Gier and Saint- Etienne.

At the entrance to Lyon, traffic is still cut off on the M6 ​​metropolitan road between the junction with the A89 motorway and Dardilly.

In Isère, the A43 motorway could be closed in the coming hours in both directions, near Bourgoin-Jallieu. Traffic is already cut off at the Chignin toll, in both directions. Traffic is also cut on the A48 motorway between Rives and Voiron and on the A480 near the Pont de Catane in Grenoble.
