Ukraine: The handwriting of Putin’s butcher Surovikin becomes visible – Opinion

The regime in Moscow is finally no longer just targeting Ukraine. As in Kyiv, the demonstrative confidence of European governments is now being followed by concerns about the collapse of life-saving systems.

The Ukrainians not only look at Russia with sheer hatred, but also with growing bewilderment. How much longer is this madness going to go on? A regime that cannot achieve its military goals and cannot even convey crazy Pyrrhic victories such as the annexations of half-conquered areas to its own population is now trying to terrorize the civilian population of the second largest country in Europe, destroying cities and infrastructure across the board. The handwriting of the new supreme commander in the Ukraine war, Sergei Surovikin, Putin’s butcher from Syria, is already visible.
