150 employees of a subsidiary of TÜV Süd test everything possible for quality and safety in Garching. The clients are often the large product chains who have to vouch for the goods that are mostly manufactured in Asia with their names.

Coffee or tea is not the question here. Eight employees of the sensor panel sit in a functionally designed room in their cubicles and drink coffee, or better: they test it. Take a sip over and over again, then write down your assessment. Things like bitter substances, acidity, chocolatey taste. Everyday life in the laboratory of TÜV Süd Product Service GmbH, where tests are currently being carried out to determine how the coffee tastes from different coffee machines. They are just one example of the many devices that are being put to the test here in Garching.
