After the accidental death of President Ebrahim Raisi, the Islamic Republic of Iran is trying to regain a semblance of normality. President Raisi died on Sunday when his helicopter crashed in the mountainous border area with neighboring Azerbaijan and was only found after a search operation lasting many hours. Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, other officials and the crew died with him. The cause of the accident is still unclear. There have been no reports of external influences so far.
