The slow decline continues in hospitals

The number of patients with Covid-19 continues to gradually decrease in hospitals in France, according to data released Tuesday by Public Health France. Currently, 13,984 Covid-19 patients are received in French hospitals, including 405 admitted in the past twenty-four hours. They were 14,323 the day before and 16,088 the week before.

The pressure is also decreasing in the intensive care units, where the most serious cases are treated: 2,394 patients are treated there including 106 new admitted, against 2,472 the day before and 2,825 a week ago. In twenty-four hours, 72 Covid-19 patients died in hospital (compared to 66 the day before and 137 last Tuesday).

19.1% of the vaccinated population

In terms of vaccination, 28,650,071 people received at least one injection (i.e. 42.8% of the total population and 54.6% of the adult population) and 12,804,506 people received two injections (i.e. 19, 1% of the total population and 24.4% of the adult population), according to the Directorate General of Health (DGS).
