There are less than four weeks until Erlangen votes on what is currently the largest tram project in the republic: the city-surrounding railway, called StUB. Nuremberg will also be directly affected by this, after all they have long since expanded their tram there to the northern city limits – also in anticipation of a new railway connecting the metropolitan area.
