The Dok-Fest Munich takes place every year in May, and after a three-year break it is now back on the road: In the coming weeks, four highlights from this year’s festival edition will be shown as part of a Bavaria-wide film tour. The program includes two Austrian and two German films. The musician documentary “Vienna Calling” focuses on artists such as Voodoo Jürgens, Der Nino aus Wien and EsRap, while “Stams” takes us to a Tyrolean winter sports squad.
From Germany come the documentaries “Forever” (about a couple who have been together for almost 70 years) and “We and the Animal”, about slaughterhouses and the ambivalence of meat consumption. These films will be shown in 19 Bavarian cities, including Augsburg, Würzburg, Ingolstadt, Nuremberg and Passau.
