Mirco Nontschew celebrated great success on the program “RTL Saturday Night”. After his unexpected death, RTL is honoring the comedian with a special broadcast.
The TV broadcaster RTL commemorates the deceased comedian Mirco Nontschew on Wednesday at prime time with a two-hour special.
“Danke Mirco” (8:15 pm) shows “the most popular gags and the most unforgettable appearances of the 52-year-old”, according to the broadcaster. “We are incredibly sad about the sudden death of Mirco Nontschew,” said RTL entertainment director Markus Küttner according to the announcement.

RTL had already changed its program in the night from Sunday to Monday. Nonchev’s surprising death in Berlin became known over the weekend. The comedian had great success on the program “RTL Saturday Night”. He was recently a member of the Prime Video comedy show “LOL – Last One Laughing”.
