Princess Charlene boarded a catamaran for “Operation Poseidon” on May 22nd. She was visibly in a good mood during the event.
For the occasion, the former swimmer, who was clearly in a good mood during the event, chose a maritime dark blue jacket with white jeans and matching sneakers. When Pierre Frolla managed to fish the flag out of the Mediterranean with a dive, Charlène came to meet him beaming and posed for the photographers together with the athlete.
Action for a good cause
The salvage will benefit the princess’s charitable foundation. The flag with her, Frolla’s and Prince Albert’s signature as well as the autographs of the 2024 World Championship racers will be auctioned. The money will contribute to Charlène’s “projects to combat drowning and promote the education of children through the values of sport,” it said on the official Instagram page of the Monegasque royals. Overall, “Operation Poseidon” is intended to “raise awareness of water safety at sea.”
The Monaco Grand Prix takes place next Sunday (May 26th). Princess Charlène is always a guest at the prestigious race through the city state with her husband and her twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella (9). Two years ago, after months of absence from public appearances, she even presented the winner with the trophy.
