Tesla recalls 2.2 million vehicles – Economy

Tesla has to improve almost all of its cars registered in the USA because of incorrect font size on the warning lights. The NHTSA, the traffic safety authority responsible for road safety, announced on Friday that the recall affects 2.2 million vehicles from the S, X, 3 and Y model series as well as the new Cybertruck. “Warning lights with smaller font sizes can make important safety information on the dashboard more difficult to read,” the agency said. This increases the risk of accidents. The electric car pioneer has started installing free software updates online to fix the problem.

It is not the first time that Elon Musk’s car company has had to rework: a week ago Tesla recalled almost 200,000 vehicles because of problems with a display, and two months ago more than two million cars because of changes to the autopilot.
