It’s almost inconspicuous, the Portun, in the corner of a gray concrete block at the Schwabinger Tor. So gray that you don’t necessarily think of a sunny Mediterranean kitchen. More like canteen food or, let’s say, rushed Lieferando drivers who could kill you at any moment. It’s still exactly right, and not just because “Portun” is the Istrian word for “gate”. But because Tantris is just one street away. The people of Munich are used to coming here for the food.
