In the eastern district of Hainold, a man stabbed several people. It is still unclear how severe the victims’ injuries are. The police do not currently suspect any terrorism.

The people of London Police have arrested a man with a sword following reports that several people were injured. The police were alerted, the Metropolitan Police said. They were reported that a vehicle had driven into a building in the eastern district of Hainault. “It was reported that several people were stabbed.”

The suspect may have attacked people in public and two police officers. “We are still waiting for information on the condition of those who were injured,” the police statement said. A 36-year-old was arrested. The investigators are currently not assuming any suspicion of terrorism.

“This must have been a terrible incident for those affected,” said Deputy Assistant Commissioner Ade Adelekan. “We do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public. We are not looking for any additional suspects. The incident does not appear to be related to terrorism.”
