“GOSSIP IS A BAND” was written on a pin that one of the band’s founding members, Nathan Howdeshell, had produced. Originally this was intended to indicate that the group does not only consist of their charismatic singer Beth Ditto. But later the more obvious meaning of the badge was not true for a long time, as the trio had broken up in 2016. GOSSIP IS NOT A BAND ANYMORE. Ditto officially said at the time that she wanted to “focus on her fashion line” in addition to solo projects. Now, after more than ten years, there is a new album on the Easter gift table. It’s called “Real Power”.
