Anyone who wants to be asked about pressing current problems in German news programs should switch jobs and work for a so-called think tank in the future. This impression pushes itself at least in the daily topics or the Today’s Journal straight up. A small, incomplete selection from last week: Experts from the think tanks “Agora Verkehrswende”, “New Climate Institute”, “Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik”, “German Institute for Defense and Strategic Studies”, “European Council on Foreign Relations”, “Chatham House” and “German Marshall Fund” were interviewed on ARD and ZDF about current political problems and asked about the solutions proposed by their institutions.
