A four-year-old boy was bitten by a Dalmatian on Friday evening and had to be taken care of in a hospital. Around 7:50 p.m., the child’s mother and her son were riding bicycles on Frundsbergstrasse when the boy fell. He didn’t injure himself, but first sat down on one of the metal bars on a strip of green on the sidewalk.
There a 56-year-old woman walked past with her dog on a leash, which suddenly attacked the boy and bit in the ear. The boy was treated in a hospital, the dog owner, who was heavily drunk with two per thousand blood alcohol, was reported by the police for negligent bodily harm for failure to do so. The dog was taken to an animal shelter until further notice.
