Lego innovations May 2024: Overview
The theme of space is the focus at Lego this year. And so it is hardly surprising that most of the new products in May float directly or indirectly through the popular space cosmos. Two years after “Discovery” landed, the countdown has begun NASA Space Launch System, the space set with the most parts from Billund to date. On May 15th, the replica of the launch pad and multi-stage rocket will appear, which prepared the next moon landing by NASA astronauts in November 2022 under the name “Artemis I”. A highlight for all space fans, and not just because of the impressive model height of 70 centimeters. In May, for example, little space adventurers can talk about a Space explorer set from the Lego City world.
And like every year, Star Wars fans are looking forward to May 4th. And this time Lego is sending the star warriors into the third season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian. A nearly 2000 piece powerful one TIE Interceptornumber 39 in the coveted Lego Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series (UCS), will soon be racing through the galaxy for a unit price of just under 230 euros.
On top of that, Lego also delights the many minifigure fans. From May 1st, twelve new minifigures will be taking the stage for the 26th time. Of course, everything revolves around weightlessness in space. Already the favorite of the masses: the pink space baby, who is nursed through orbit by a nurse android on a bottle.
