Israel News: Aunt: 12-year-old hostage had to watch video of Hamas attack

After the release of one twelve year old French hostage through the terrorist organization Hamas, the boy’s aunt reports that he allegedly forced to watch videos of the terrorist attack on Israel. The boy “experienced terrible things” in the hands of Hamas, the aunt tells the broadcaster BFMTV. “Every time a child cried, they threatened them with a gun to make them quiet,” the aunt said. “When he arrived in Gaza, every civilian, everyone, beat him up. We’re talking about a 12-year-old child.”
The boy was released on Monday evening with two other French children aged 12 and 16 and eight other hostages. “Yesterday we were so happy (…), but now when I know this, I’m worried,” says the aunt. “I don’t know who can do something like that.” She hopes that the boy will get over what he has experienced with care and help.

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz also quotes his grandmother as saying the boy has the first 16 days of his captivity alone in a closed room have to spend. She finds it difficult to talk about what her grandson had to go through. The 12-year-old was later with other hostages.
