Bayern win in economy mode: Double packer Kane ready for Real

One Munich player in particular succeeded in getting in the mood for Real Madrid: striker Harry Kane scored twice against Frankfurt before causing a shocking moment.
In energy saving mode, FC Bayern successfully prepared for the Champions League clash against Real Madrid – thanks Harry Kane.
The Englishman led Munich to a 2-1 (1-1) win against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga with his 34 and 35 goals this season. The Hessians were able to maintain their position in the race for a European Cup place, but were unable to improve it.
2750th Bayern home goal to make it 1-0
Kane scored FC Bayern’s 2,750th Bundesliga home goal in the 9th minute of the game in the Allianz Arena, which was sold out with 75,000 spectators. And after the break he definitely scored the game-winning penalty against Eintracht goalkeeper Kevin Trapp (61′). In between, Frankfurt’s attacker Hugo Ekitiké was able to equalize (23′).
Kane also caused a moment of shock when he was left lying in his own penalty area after a challenge in the 65th minute three days before the semi-final first leg against Real. Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer rushed to the irreplaceable man, but he was able to continue playing after a short treatment. For the time being, however, Kane remained at 400 goals in his professional career.
Bayern’s successful revenge for the 1:5 disaster from the first half of the season in Frankfurt gives coach Thomas Tuchel and his players a good feeling for Real, but nothing more. The offensive midfield line planned for next Tuesday with Leroy Sané, Serge Gnabry and Jamal Musiala was completely missing. Musiala was supposed to play again, but Tuchel was unable to use the youngster as planned due to the after-effects of a knee tendon injury. Is there more?
Musiala is missing, Laimer is injured, de Ligt is dazed
New personnel concerns arose because Konrad Laimer had to be replaced early (28th). The Austrian injured his right foot. Before that, Laimer had set up Kane’s first goal with an energetic ball win and a solo effort. In many phases, however, Bayern lacked the willingness and concentration to make the afternoon easier. Frankfurt stayed in the game until the final whistle.
The Frenchman Ekitiké was able to equalize with a well-placed low shot without any opposition pressure. Several good Bayern chances fizzled out afterwards. Trapp, who once again held well in Munich, directed a shot from the eager Raphaël Guerreiro onto the crossbar (45th).
Video evidence helps Bavaria: Koch hits Müller in the head
Matthijs de Ligt stayed in the locker room for Munich at halftime. The defender appeared dazed in the early stages after a collision, but initially continued playing. In the second half, which was poor in highlights, the hosts benefited from video evidence. A head hit by Frankfurt’s Robin Koch on Thomas Müller was subsequently punished – Kane said thank you and scored from the penalty spot.
