No, Daniela Schmid from the Munich Nutrition Council is not really satisfied with the city council. “Unfortunately, nutrition does not play a special role in the urban climate package,” she says, “while agriculture and nutrition contribute around 30 percent to greenhouse gas emissions worldwide.” The city council is unlikely to be aware of this, she says, because otherwise it would be more committed to the issue.
