This elephant appears to be breaking through a wall and actually standing in front of the wall with its front legs. The impressive piece of street art is an optical illusion five meters wide and three meters high. Optical illusions are a popular theme of public art. Also in 2021, the French street artist Jean Rene, also known under the pseudonym JR, created this illusion of the Eiffel Tower, which seems to stand above a deep street canyon. The technique is called anamorphosis. It is only visible from a very specific point. The picture does not reveal its desired effect from other angles.
