Danty doubt for the opener against the All Blacks

The center of the Blues Jonathan Danty, who suffers from a small muscle lesion in the level of a thigh, is uncertain for the opening match of the World Cup 2023, September 8 against New Zealand, AFP learned on Wednesday source close to the player. Danty (30 years old, 23 selections) still has to take additional exams in the days to come.

The La Rochelle player, centerpiece of Fabien Galthié’s XV of France, could miss the first match of the World Cup, against the All Blacks. The Blacks to start in style

The Blues have already lost the opening half Romain Ntamack (rupture of the cruciate ligament of the left knee) for the whole of the competition and the pillar Cyril Baille (calf) for the start of the World Cup. Fabien Galthié’s men will face the All Blacks in the opening match before taking on Uruguay, Namibia and Italy.
