In their joint podcast, Tom and Bill Kaulitz revealed that they were infected with the corona virus.

Bill and Tom Kaulitz (32) have in their joint podcast “Kaulitz Hills – Mustard from Hollywood” tells that they have corona. In the latest episode, they first tell about their “traditional and cozy” Christmas party. “We decorated trees, celebrated nicely, drank boxes of red wine, watched films and ate,” says Tom Kaulitz.

Brother Bill admits that the family also degenerated into a “bigwig Christmas” with expensive gifts and that it was “very nice Beverly Hills”. On the other hand, New Year’s Eve with delivery service food and watching films at home on the couch was not at all “bonz-like”, “reveals Tom. Both have caught Covid and are still sick and in quarantine.

With such an extended family, it is impossible to understand “who is bringing what from where,” explains Tom. He’s doubly annoyed because the family is actually extremely careful. So all people always made fun of her. “We only pay attention to mask, only distance and rarely meet people outside of the family.” In his case, the infection had shown itself to be severe flu with chills and fever and thus a relatively mild course.

The brothers had to skip the New Year’s Eve party

For Bill, the illness was an absolute “nightmare”, especially on New Year’s Eve. “I thought I was dying. You have to say, I have almost no symptoms. I had no chills, no fever, nothing at all, just a severe sore throat for several days, but that was also possible.” He felt very fit and tested himself every day in the hope that a negative result would come back.

“We were invited to such a great party and I was so looking forward to it. I really wanted to crash again,” explains the singer. Nevertheless, he did not give up alcohol on New Year’s Eve. However, they had to do without decoration and the like. “Nobody could get us anything and nobody could help us with the housekeeping. Throwing it for so many – I had the feeling we were just standing in the kitchen,” says Bill. Together they were real “full-time houseguests” and learned a lot in everyday life. “We have already started the new year wilder. But now things can only go uphill in the new year,” said Tom in a positive mood.
