Taylor Swift can look forward to receiving an award at the 66th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. She also announces that there will soon be new music from her again.

Pop superstar Taylor Swift is releasing a new album in April. “I’m going to tell you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last two years. My brand new album is coming out on April 19th. It’s called ‘The Torted Poets Department,'” Swift said at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles.

Shortly before, the 34-year-old had won one of the coveted music awards in the Best Pop Vocal Album category for her current record “Midnights”.

“The Torted Poets Department” means something like “The Department for Tortured Poets” in German. The cover, which Swift published online at the same time, shows a black and white photo of a woman lying on a bed and a piece of paper with a lyric.

The Grammys are being presented for the 66th time this year. Around 13,000 members of the Recording Academy decide on the winners of the Golden Gramophones, which are one of the most coveted music prizes in the world and are awarded in 94 categories.
