A jaunt with consequences: A 15-year-old drives his father’s car through Berlin at “significantly excessive speed”. According to the police, the property damage is “considerable”.
He was driving his father’s car: A 15-year-old damaged several other cars on a dangerous jaunt in Berlin-Lichtenberg. The police spoke on Thursday of “considerable damage to property”. According to a witness, the teenager was traveling on Hönower Weg on Wednesday evening at “significantly excessive speed”.
She called the police after the driver lost control of the car and crashed into a parked vehicle. The parked car was thrown across the street. There it crashed into another car, which in turn pushed three other cars together. A total of six vehicles were damaged. The youth was apparently unharmed, but was taken to a hospital as a precaution. The investigation was ongoing, it said. What the father said about the action is not known.
