Gironde firefighters intervened this Tuesday around 2 p.m. for a work accident in the town of Vayres, between Bordeaux and Libourne. A 43-year-old man had just fallen about twenty meters on the industrial estate of the OI glass factory (Owens-Illinois), located on the BSN road. The emergency services could only note his death on their arrival.
The man worked for a company that was renovating the roof of the industrial site, which produces more than 350 million bottles each year, intended in particular for the Bordeaux wine sector.
