Boosters, please – Berlin’s governing mayor Franziska Giffey visits vaccination center
Important visit to a corona vaccination center in Berlin on Wednesday: The ruling mayor Franziska Giffey (SPD) and health senator Ulrike Gote (Greens) stopped by to advertise the booster vaccination. The nationwide seven-day incidence drops to 205.5 from 215.6 the previous day. However, the RKI pointed out that fewer tests were carried out during the holidays and at the turn of the year. Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach spoke on Wednesday of two to three times more cases than the numbers currently show.
The booster vaccinations are an important measure to maintain the city’s critical infrastructure, Giffey said.
