Vicky Leandros is ill and has to cancel her concerts. But fans can hope for a comeback soon.
Pop singer Vicky Leandros (71) is currently on her farewell tour “I love life” – but this now has to be unexpectedly interrupted. Like it According to a current press release on the website of the organizer Semmel Concerts, Leandros currently has “an acute respiratory infection with a severe cough that has put a stop to his plans.” Her specialist advised her to protect her singing and speaking voice.

Therefore, a total of five concerts in Munich (April 2nd), Stuttgart (April 6th), Frankfurt (April 8th) and Antwerp (April 4th) as well as Ostend (April 9th) in Belgium are canceled for the time being. However, they are working hard to find alternative dates for the pop legend’s concerts.
In a statement Vicky Leandros let her fans know: “I’m very sad and I’m so sorry that I can’t attend these concerts and have to postpone them. I was really looking forward to this wonderful audience.”
On a farewell tour since 2023
Vicky Leandros announced her farewell tour in November 2022. “I’m so excited to take you on a musical journey back in time to celebrate life and music together,” she said at the time of the announcement. “My farewell tour – I love life” started in autumn 2023.
“Five final additional concerts” are currently planned for autumn 2024 in Lübeck (October 22nd), Düsseldorf (October 24th), Vienna (October 27th), Salzburg (October 28th) and Berlin (October 31st).
