Many guest appearances on “Rote Rosen” in May
These stars have already made guest appearances

Celebrity alert on “Rote Rosen”: Three guest stars will appear in May. This is a tradition in the ARD series. A review.
Lüneburg is a celebrity hotspot – at least that’s what the ARD telenovela “Rote Roses”. Fans of the series can look forward to three guest stars in May who couldn’t be more different.
First up is YouTube star Freshtorge (35). On May 2nd and 3rd, the comedian and actor, whose real name is Torge Oelrich, can be seen in the role of Net coach Tom Tool. Just a few days later – on May 7th, 8th and 10th – Olympic champion Heike Drechsler (59) paid a visit to the northern German town. To round off the month, star chef Johann Lafer (66) will be at “Rote Rosen” from May 29th and will be shaking up “Carlas” in four episodes.
In recent years, many celebrities in Lüneburg have also given each other a hand. A review.
Musician and singer at “Rote Rosen”
There has been a celebrity alarm at “Rote Rosen” for years now. For example, singer-songwriter Nico Santos (31) tried his hand at acting for four episodes in 2015 and resided as the rock star “Tiger Rat” in the series hotel “Drei Könige”. Other fellow musicians made it a little easier for “Rote Rosen” and played themselves – such as pop star Jürgen Drews (79). The now retired “King of Mallorca” appeared in “Rote Rosen” for four episodes in 2019.
Two years later, in May 2021, Thomas Anders (61) found himself at the “Drei Könige” hotel in Lüneburg. The singer wanted to stay there as inconspicuously as possible. Completely different from children’s song star Rolf Zuckowski (76). He also appeared in a guest role as himself on “Rote Rosen” in May 2021. In the three episodes he organized a children’s casting in Lüneburg.
Entertainer Ross Antony (49), who celebrated his breakthrough as a member of the pop band Bro’Sis, took on a guest role as reporter Tony Frost in March 2021. A fitting role for the Brit, who has built up a foothold as a presenter in addition to music.
Change of scenery for acting stars and entertainers
In addition to musical stars, one or two acting faces have also been drawn in front of the camera on the ARD telenovela. In 2018, “Lindenstraße” star Marie-Luise Marjan (83) took on a guest role on “Rote Rosen”. For a few episodes, she swapped her iconic role as Mother Beimer for that of a princess. As Frederike, Princess of Lüdecke, she moved to the “Drei Könige” – with lots of flashbulbs in her luggage.
Freshtorge is not the first time a YouTube star has appeared on “Rote Rosen”. In 2020, Joyce Ilg (40) took on the role of a business woman. The trained actress is very successful on YouTube with 1.16 million followers, but can also often be seen on linear television – in guest roles on various series or in the TV show “Do you understand fun?”.
In 2023, “Let’s Dance” star Oana Nechiti (36) appeared in the ARD series. It was the professional dancer’s first foray into acting. At the end of November last year she danced in “Rote Rosen” and gave dance coaching.
“Rote Rosen” runs Monday to Friday from 2:10 p.m. on Erste. The guest appearances by Lafer, Drechsler and Freshtorge come just a few weeks before the summer break. From June 17th, the telenovela will say goodbye to the screens for nine weeks and is scheduled to return with new episodes on August 19th.
