Vaccination campaign against Corona: 150 companies are changing their logos so great

“We love vaccinating” (Edeka), “Come vaccinating and find out” (Douglas) or “Vaccinating. What else?” (Nespresso) – these are the modified slogans of 150 companies who, in view of the significantly increasing corona incidence, are calling for vaccinations with a cross-brand campaign under the hashtag #Together against Corona. In the social media, the companies have a reach of hundreds of millions of followers.

Reach out to the general public

If you regularly consume advertising, the most common claims of German brands are immediately in your head. Instead of “Then go to Netto”, “Then go for a vaccination” – this should develop its effect in broad sections of the population and convince even the last skeptics to get vaccinated after all.

“Brands have influence and reach. So why not use both to convey the message that our own vaccination is the best way out of the pandemic for all of us,” says Sven Dörrenbächer, Managing Partner of the Berlin advertising agency antoni, who came up with the campaign. The manager is already overwhelmed by the great response.

Olaf Scholz welcomes the campaign

Chancellor-designate Olaf Scholz also welcomes the campaign: “We will only defeat Corona together. It is crucial that as many citizens as possible get vaccinated. Then the virus can spread less.” All strength must now be put into this. “This is an outstanding sign of social responsibility and initiative. My appeal to everyone: Please get vaccinated,” said Scholz.

The initiative came about spontaneously

The idea for the initiative came about spontaneously, say the initiators. Concerned about the fourth wave of the pandemic and its social, societal and economic impact, a group of people from the marketing industry got together and launched the campaign within a few days. It is said to be the fastest developed campaign in history.
