Upper Bavaria: 4 dead in violent crimes in Weilheim | News

Weilheim – During an operation in the small town of Weilheim in Upper Bavaria, the police found four dead late Friday afternoon (November 11). The background is still unclear.

It was a violent crime, said a police spokesman late Friday evening. The alleged perpetrator was among the dead. He did not give any further details.

Around 4:50 p.m., a witness noticed a seriously injured man in the garden of a house in the center of town and then called the police and emergency services. When emergency services arrived, the 60-year-old was unresponsive. Despite resuscitation measures, he succumbed to his severe injuries on the spot.

The police then found three more bodies at other locations in Weilheim, including the alleged perpetrator.

A major search was initially unsuccessful. After being informed by a passer-by, the officials found a dead man on a park bench around 7.15 p.m. in the Holzhofstraße area on the Ammer. During a search of the 59-year-old’s property, the police discovered two lifeless women with massive injuries. An emergency doctor could only determine the death of the two 57-year-old women.

The investigators assume that the 59-year-old first fatally injured the women and the 60-year-old man and then took his own life. According to the police, the people were related or acquainted.

The forensics are on site, the Weilheim criminal police and the Munich II public prosecutor’s office are conducting the investigation.
