Unterföhring – fire brigade frees drivers from cars – district of Munich

The Unterföhring fire brigade needed heavy equipment to free an injured driver from his car on Saturday morning. At around 8.30 a.m. on the municipal border of Ismaning and Unterföhring, he left state road 2053 with his car and crashed into a tree. According to the fire department, the vehicle slid three meters down the embankment and came to a stop on other trees. The forces had to secure the wreck with the help of a winch and a grab hoist. They then opened the passenger door with a hydraulic device so that the emergency doctor could help. The driver’s door was separated from the chassis and the injured person was freed. A rescue helicopter was deployed. According to the report, the state road was closed for a long time in both directions.
