Revenge as a motive. Two young men aged 19 and 22 were indicted for “attempted assassination” and “criminal conspiracy”, we learned this Sunday, from France Bleu. They were arrested in possession of a loaded Kalashnikov on Thursday in Saint-Etienne, in the Loire.
Known to the police
The first elements of the investigation seem to show that the two individuals intended to kill a man whom they accused of having injured one of them with a knife in March.
In a press release, the Saint-Etienne prosecutor explains that they were arrested at a gas station, on a stolen scooter. Known to the police for attacks on property and people, the two individuals were placed in pre-trial detention in two different prisons.
