He didn’t survive. A two-year-old boy, who fell last Saturday from his family’s apartment, on the 7th floor of a building in Villeurbanne, near Lyon, “unfortunately died”, the Lyon prosecutor’s office said on Thursday, reports Progress.
Last Saturday, around 5 p.m., the child would have escaped the vigilance of his mother, present in the accommodation, and would have accessed a balcony where his brothers and sisters aged six and one year old were also present. The two-year-old boy would then have climbed before falling into the void. He was transported to Bron hospital in very serious condition. On Monday, he was brain dead.
The prosecution specified that the investigation was continuing in order to “know the circumstances of his death”.
