Two members of the security forces killed

Two members of the Iranian security forces were killed during protests over the death of Mahsa Amini in Iran, the official IRNA news agency reported on Sunday. The two deaths bring to at least 14 the number of members of the security forces killed since the protests began on September 16, according to Iranian media.

A member of the Bassij paramilitary militia died on Saturday night “after sustaining serious head injuries following an armed attack by a mob” in southern Tehran, IRNA reported.
