Two people died when a small plane crashed in the Bavarian Forest on Wednesday. The two male people are the occupants of the plane, said a spokeswoman for the police headquarters in Lower Bavaria of the German Press Agency. The police were initially unable to provide any further information about the dead or the causes of the crash.
The question of where the plane took off from is still being determined. According to the information, the crash site is about 500 meters from the national park center near Neuschönau in the Bavarian Forest. Debris from the plane was spread over a large area around the crash site, which was only a few kilometers from the border with the Czech Republic.
