Donald Trump’s legal delaying tactics are paying off: a conviction in the proceedings against him in US federal courts is hardly expected before the election. It could happen sooner that he moves back into the White House in 2025.
All in all, things are not going badly for Donald Trump, the presidential candidate and regular customer of the US justice system. Well, he has already received two verdicts; Trump is expected to pay hundreds of millions of dollars in New York for inflated assets and defamation in a rape case. This is annoying for him, who believes he is above the law, and bad for his carefully cultivated image as Croesus, because he obviously has problems raising the money. His army of lawyers is fighting the penalties, we’ll see. But otherwise?
