The trial against Alec Baldwin for involuntary manslaughter officially begins on July 10th. In truth, of course, he started long ago – and the public prosecutor’s office took a lot of heat from the actor: She submitted a 316-page document to the criminal court in the US state of New Mexico, which caused a stir because it revealed the prosecutors’ strategy for the trial. Apparently they don’t want to focus too much on the question of whether Alec Baldwin pulled the trigger on the gun on the set of the Western “Rust” in October 2021 from which a bullet killed the camerawoman Halyna Hutchins and the director Joel Souza injured in the shoulder. They seem to be focused on painting Baldwin as a ruthless, manipulative and aggressive villain.
