These shows will get a new season in 2024
This year there will be the 21st season of “Deutschland sucht den Superstar”. Dieter Bohlen is again the captain of the jury.

2024 will bring a breath of fresh air to reality and casting TV: “DSDS”, “GNTM” and Co. are returning – with some changes.
The new year can begin because there is plenty of entertainment. Numerous reality and Casting formats will return with a new season in 2024. You can find out what viewers can expect and what changes there are to the program here.
“Germany seeks the superstar”
In the meantime, fans feared that there would not be another season. But now the casting show “DSDS” is returning again – including a few changes in the RTL program dominated by Dieter Bohlen (69): This year the age limit is no longer applicable, which means that not only candidates aged 16 can apply up to 30 years of age apply, but also older people. In addition, the jurors will be reconstituted; in addition to Dieter Bohlen and the former “DSDS” winner Pietro Lombardi (31), rapper Loredana (28) and pop star Beatrice Egli (35) will take their place behind the jury’s desk.
“Prominently separated”
In the third season of “Celebrity Separated,” eight prominent ex-couples can test their limits. They have to win various games and challenges in order to win the prize money of 100,000 euros. Among those taking part are reality star Mike Cees along with his ex-partner Michelle Monballijn and “Temptation Island” ex-couple Sandra Sicora and Tommy Pedroni. In “Celebrity Separated” the former lovers are tested in South Africa and asked how they now relate to each other.
“I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!”
In the 17th season this year, RTL is looking for the jungle king or queen. The new round of “I’m a Star – Get Me Out of Here!” begins on January 19th. Celebrities such as actor Heinz Hoenig (72) and TV star Cora Schumacher (47) are moving into the wilds of Australia as candidates. There they have to face the challenging tasks in the jungle.
“Big Brother”
Big Brother returns – Joyn is doing a new season of the reality show in which the contestants will be in the container for 100 days. As in the celebrity format of 2023, viewers can follow the participants in the live stream around the clock.
“Germany’s Next Topmodel”
The 19th season of the model casting show “Germany’s Next Top Model” with Heidi Klum (50) has a fundamental change in store: Not only all age groups are welcome, but also every gender. Filming for the new season of the ProSieben show has been underway since October. It will premiere on February 15th.
“The Bachelor”
The RTL dome format “The Bachelor” is part of the standard program for many trash TV lovers. The show will enter its 14th round in 2024. A big change has already been announced: there will be two bachelors who will be allowed to fight for 22 ladies. This creates a completely new type of competition. The format will start on January 17th.
“The Super talent”
“Das Supertalent” had a break for two years, but the talent show will return in 2024. Dieter Bohlen and Bruce Darnell (66) take their places on the jury again. The professional dancer Ekaterina Leonova (36) and “Let’s Dance” winner Anna Ermakova (23) will sit next to them. “Das Supertalent” will be shown on RTL in prime time from January 27th.
