Poet with speed: the writer Ludwig Steinherr in portrait – Munich

Ludwig Steinherr inspires a very special muse: speed. “Everything I do, I do it quickly,” he says, stirring his coffee. Stirring, walking, writing – all at full speed. In the first poem of the volume of poetry “The Birth of a Ming Vase,” published in 2021, the writer even sings “in praise of speed” to his muse. “Be faster than your thoughts – / then the lightning appears / then the God speaks …”
