Accident with three deaths in the Teutoburg Forest

There was a serious accident involving several vehicles in the Teutoburg Forest. At least three people were killed.
There was a traffic accident on Wednesday morning Three people were killed in the Teutoburg Forest between Paderborn and Detmold. According to the police, another occupant was seriously injured and one was slightly injured on Federal Highway 1 near Horn-Bad Meinberg. Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing.
Four cars and a truck were involved. According to a police spokeswoman, there was black ice on the road when the police arrived at the scene of the accident. It is still unclear whether the road conditions caused the accident around 7:45 a.m. Police experts from Paderborn are on site. Several media outlets had previously reported on the accident.
