Tokyo: Man in “Joker” costume runs amok – recordings show driving (video)

In a panic, these people ran through a wagon in the Tokyo subway on Halloween Sunday. Previously, a knife attacker described as a “Joker” had set fire on the train and injured several people. The subway came to an unscheduled stop after an emergency braking. Many people saved themselves through the windows of the train and climbed outside. Numerous fire engines and rescue workers quickly arrived in front of the station, and access was blocked. According to Japanese media reports, the police arrested a 24-year-old suspect at the scene. He is said to have disguised himself as the “Joker” in the Batman film and did not offer any resistance when he was arrested. At first nothing was known about his possible motives. He is now charged with attempted murder.
