At the age of 75, Marius Müller-Westernhagen is back in the big stadiums. He had to cancel a concert in Stuttgart due to illness. He wants to go back on stage in Berlin.

The singer Marius Müller-Westernhagen (75) wants to be fit again for the Waldbühne in Berlin on Friday after a concert cancellation in Stuttgart. “There is no reason to worry,” assured the musician (“With Peppermint I am your Prince”, “Zeitgeist”) on his Instagram account. It is part of a tour to be under constant medical supervision.

“Shit happens”

“Unfortunately, my doctors had to take me out of the game yesterday so as not to risk anything,” said Müller-Westernhagen. He spent the night in a Stuttgart hotel after receiving several infusions from a doctor backstage.

“I don’t know what was sent through my veins, but after eleven hours of sleep I feel like myself again and am more than positive that I will be on stage again in Berlin on Friday,” wrote Müller-Westernhagen .

He said he was very sorry that the concert in Stuttgart on Tuesday could not take place. “I was so looking forward to it and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your understanding,” said the singer. He will try to find a new date to play in Stuttgart. “Shit happens,” the singer concluded his post.
