Second votes: CDU wins Frankfurt
The preliminary final result for the state or second votes in Frankfurt is clear: The CDU won the city with 30.1 percent of the second votes and has gained 7.3 percent compared to 2018.
The Greens are in second place with 23.7 percent (minus 2.3 percent) and the SPD are in third place with 15.1 percent (minus 3.4 percent). The AfD is at 10.3 percent in Frankfurt.
The city of Frankfurt includes six constituencies. While five of six direct mandates went to the CDU, the Greens were able to defend the Frankfurt V constituency with Marcus Bocklet.
