A new act of anti-Semitism was again recorded this weekend in France. The scene took place on Sunday noon in La Baule (Loire-Atlantique). As he left his house, the owner of a house located on Allée des Roitelets discovered, to his horror, that three stars of David had been crudely painted black on the green gate of his property, reports Ocean Press.
The daily specifies that the owner of the premises is not of the Jewish faith and has never spoken publicly about the conflict between Israel and Hamas. A complaint was filed by the victim and an investigation was opened. Since the start of the war, more than 1,500 anti-Semitic acts have been reported in France and nearly 600 people arrested.
