The year 2021 is drawing to a close and some women’s perfumes have emerged that were particularly popular – and are ideal, for example, as a Christmas present. Here are ten fragrances that are trendy.

The year 2021 is slowly coming to an end and instead of fresh, lighter fragrances, women wear spicier perfumes in autumn and winter. But which fragrances are and were particularly popular in 2021? And which fragrance trends in 2021 are still suitable as Christmas gifts? Ten perfumes that are trendy.

“Sì Intense” by Giorgio Armani

This year there is a particular trend that fragrances that exude strength are popular with women. One of them is “Sì Insense” by Giorgio Armani. The perfume stands for sensuality and self-confidence. Black currant nectar in the top note, Isparta rose in the heart note, patchouli and benzoin resin in the base note and vanilla make for a mixture that is popular with many women.

“Ginza” by Shiseido

Even “Ginza” by Shiseido is a more feminine, more intense fragrance. It combines woody notes with flowery ones: the middle notes of the perfume include jasmine, petals of magnolia and Japanese orchid as well as hinoki wood. Sandalwood and patchouli complete the fragrance.

“L’Interdit Rouge” from Givenchy

The next trend fragrance for women is elegant: “L’Interdit Rouge” from Givenchy combines a white accord – orange blossom, Arabic jasmine and tuberose – with darker, mysterious notes of patchouli, vetiver and ambroxan. This fragrance is sensual and romantic and also makes a very good (Christmas) gift.

“Carolina Herrera For Women” by Carolina Herrera

Carolina Herreras fragrance “Carolina Herrera For Women” is as romantic as it is sensual, but also rich and flowery. Its aroma consists of jasmine notes and night hyacinth as well as sandalwood, ambergris and musk. The extraordinary fragrance fits perfectly into the fragrance trends for women 2021.

“Mixed Emotions” by Byredo

The unisex perfume “Mixed Emotions” by Byredo combines mate and blackcurrant in the top note with birch wood and papyrus in the base note. Black Ceylon tea and violet leaves in the middle note round off the fragrance composition. A very modern fragrance that is also ideal as a special gift.

“J’adore” by Dior

The next fragrance trend for women in 2021 is sensual, but not too heavy: “J’adore” by Dior. In this exciting fragrance, floral-fruity notes meet the essence of the Damascus rose from Turkey.

“Mon Guerlain Sparkling Bouquet” by Guerlain

“Mon Guerlain Sparkling Bouquet” by Guerlain is intended to represent the various facets of femininity – and of course fits in perfectly with the fragrance trends for women in 2021. It is a tangy perfume that is characterized by a lavender-vanilla duo, an exciting pear note and Arabic jasmine. It’s fresh, oriental-fruity and charming at the same time. The eye-catching bottle makes the perfume a pretty gift idea.

“Trèsor” from Lancome

Not a novelty, but a classic that should not be missing from the trend fragrances for women: “Trésor” from Lancôme. After all, it stands for sensuality and love like no other perfume. Notes of rose petals and peach blossom meet lily of the valley, iris and vanilla as well as musk and sandalwood. An evergreen that is constantly being rediscovered by women.

“Libre Intense” by Yves Saint Laurent

“Libre” has long been one of the fragrance classics, but now the perfume has been reissued: “Libre Intense” by Yves Saint Laurent is even more intense than its predecessor and mixes masculine with feminine nuances. This makes the scent, which beguiles with leathery undertones, intense floral notes and vanilla, particularly exciting and exudes self-confidence.

Fragrance trend 2021: solid perfume

When we talk about fragrance trends for women in 2021, solid perfumes should not be missing in the end either. Solid perfumes do not contain alcohol and are therefore particularly suitable for sensitive skin. They are also productive. Especially that Diptyque Philosykos Solid Perfume is currently in fashion, but it is often sold out quickly. Perfume pens are also particularly useful when you are on the go.

Tip: Incidentally, fragrances (including solid perfumes) last longer if you apply them directly to the skin: wrists, necks, elbows or décolleté are, for example, suitable. The best time to apply a perfume is after you shower, when your pores are open. If you want to wear jewelry, it is also advisable to put it on only after the fragrance has been applied, as not every piece of jewelry can be sprayed.
