“The Voice”: stolen by a coach, this talent will ultimately not participate in cross-battles

One of the most merciless rules of battles got the better of one of the singers of season 13, this Saturday April 13 on TF1.
It all came down to the end of the show when a coach decided to steal a talent from another team, effectively chasing away the one he had saved the previous week.
All the season’s performances can be found on TF1+.

The cross-battles of “The Voice” will be done without her. Ambre Ever nevertheless believed in it until the end despite her defeat in battle. His coach Zazie preferred Alphonse, the 17-year-old vocal double of Jacques Brel, after their French cover of ABBA last week. The 16-year-old girl, however, was drafted by Mika, who applied the stolen talent rule. During this stage, the coaches have the possibility of continuing the adventure with a singer not selected during the battles. But just one, no more!

If you love singing, no one is going to stop you. Believe me !”

Mika to Amber Ever

So among all the stolen talents, the same feeling dominates. The joy of being selected quickly gives way to the stress of seeing one of their comrades be saved in turn and push them out of the competition for good. This is what Ambre Ever experienced this Saturday, April 13, seated in one of the four armchairs arranged at the edge of the stage. On waivers, the high school student saw her dream disappear when Mika fell for Clément, also from Zazie’s team who had just chosen Morpho after their musical duel on “Somewhere Only We Know” by Keane.

“If someone else comes along, maybe it won’t be you. But you totally deserve a chance to stay on this adventure.”, Mika had warned her when selecting her. Obviously very moved, Ambre Ever could not hold back her tears after her elimination. A departure amid applause, after comforting words from the singer of “”Grace Kelly. “If you like singing, no one is going to stop you. Trust me!”, he assures. The pressure is now on Clément’s shoulders, who will in turn have to wait until the third evening of battles to ensure he truly stays in the game alongside Mika.
