“The Voice Kids” – Georgia Wins Finals – TV

This fairy tale had a happy ending after all…

On Friday evening, Georgia from Bremerhaven won “The Voice Kids”. The eleven-year-old not only scooped up the trophy, but also a training grant of 15,000 euros and the option of a record deal.

She was really unlucky that season. Georgia had to drop out early due to a corona infection, but was then voted into the final by TV viewers via a “community ticket”.

Another eight talents competed with her. The student from Team Fanta entered the race with the Elvis classic “Can’t Help Falling in Love”. Not only her mentors were happy about the return of the young singer. Lena Meyer-Landrut (30) was also happy. “I’m really glad that you’re here today and that you were able to sing so well for us.” The fans almost burst with pride.

During the show, Georgia showed that she’s already a real pro. Candidate Vivien (15) failed for the group performance that evening because of a laryngitis. Nadia and Georgia had to perform alone.

Coach Michi Beck (54) said: “The girls found out 30 minutes before the show that Vivien was not allowed to take part and got their parts on it too.”

Presenter Melissa Khalaj (32) was amazed after the performance: “What a great performance! What great energy!” The talents had to tremble for a long time before the winner was announced. The coaches still had a challenge ahead of them.

Because Lena won a quiz at the Battles, she had one wish. The singer opted for a quirky rendition to Abba’s The Winner Takes It All, with her peers as extras.

Alvaro Soler (31) sat at the piano, the fans waved air at Lena with white feather fans, and Wincent Weiß (29) gave the double of the musician with a dark long-haired wig and a skin-tight white dress. No one could remain serious about this number.

It wasn’t until shortly before midnight that the time had come. The TV viewers decided by voting and chose Georgia as the winner of “The Voice Kids 2022”. Tears of joy from the student.

Her predecessor Egon (16) from Berlin, who won last year, was allowed to perform the joint song “Rest der Welt” in the final on Friday evening with his great idol, singer-songwriter Max Prosa (32). Who knows which star Georgia will be on stage with soon…
